Every Friday we use our class time for extensions and interventions. I make groups of students who need extra instruction and help them one-on-one. I love the recourses available on Teacher Pay Teacher. They have fun worksheets that give my students a change from regular weekly assignments. For my students that have got the material down, I have them do extensions. This needs to be something they can do with minimal instruction and attention from me. Teacher Pay Teacher has many resources that I can use for this activity.
