These safety glasses and ear plugs will keep our students safe from debris that comes of of the power tools that we use on a daily basis and protect their hearing. The lessons and skills they learn in our class will be vitally important in them learning a technical trade and help them build a future working with their hands. We are learning basic carpentry skills such as reading a tape measure correctly, building small and larger projects like tool boxes and dog houses. Last semester, our students built cornhole sets. When our school returns to doing musicals and plays, our class will be the ones that build all the sets and run the stage for the shows.
