Transitional kindergarten is such an exciting grade to teach. The items on my list will give my students hands-on and engaging learning opportunities that will solidify valuable foundational learning skills that are needed to be successful in kindergarten. I've selected materials that will be used in literacy and math centers. Many of the materials help students learn through tactile and sensory play. My new classroom is pretty bare as I am coming in as a new teacher mid-year. I hope to change that. I will use these materials to catch my students up with their learning goals, and to prepare them for kindergarten.
