I know snacks, reward materials, stickers and pencils will help motivate my students to be excited for learning daily. Also, I love that my students don't go on empty stomachs before lunch. I have seen the improvements when I reward kids and give them that little extra push. Motivation is key for kids learning nowadays. One example: we write a journal entry, first thing in the morning. The students love the stickers and rewards I give them, encouraging them to continue writing their own little stories everyday.
