The Recycling Solution
Funded May 2, 2023Your donations made our first ever project based learning unit possible and a success! The resouces provided the opportunity for student choice when presenting their solution to the recycling issue in our school, and allowed for complete authenticity of their work.
The students learned that humans are having a negative impact on our environment and were so excited to be able to explore this global and community issue with the use of the resources provided by our donors.
The students used the materials to to research, plan, design and create to solve the problem of little to no recycling in our school community. They created murals, posters, books, graphic novel story boards, dioramas, articles, borchures, news broadcasts, rap songs, PSAs and conducted interviews to engage our school in the issue and promote change.
We would not have been able to launch our first unit without your help!”

Indoor Recess Fun!
Funded Jan 20, 2022My students were so excited and grateful upon receiving the indoor recess materials. They clapped and cheered when I showed them everything and explained when and where they could utilize them. My students were able to each make their own baggie which included markers, origami paper, a fidget spinner, a mini notebook, colorful click pen and a calming coloring circle. The. students eagerly brought the baggies down on the first rainy day and were able to use the materials to appropriately occupy their indoor recess time. Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students have enjoyed every activity your donation was able to provide.”
With gratitude,
