  • The Garden of Beauty

    Thank you for this opportunity for our students to enjoy the outdoors apply knowledge they've learned in science throughout the years and the ability to appreciate the beauty of a garden.

    Each day we have the opportunity to come to school and prior to walking into the front door see hard work in action. Students able to see the beauty of the seeds they planted grow and flourish.

    These students have had the opportunity to work together as a team, not only to plant seeds, but were involved in the development and design of our school garden.

    This project will be part of their legacy here at Montauk Junior high school and we hope to have the garden flourish for many years to come.”

  • Montauk Pride- Positive Behavior, Interventions and Supports

    We are Montauk PRIDE. That is the name of our PBIS system.

    PRIDE stands for Prepared, Respectful, Involved, Disciplined and Empathetic.

    These are expectations we reward where there it be in the classroom, hallway or cafeteria.

    Our students are rewarded for demonstrating these expectations. When demonstrated they are given tickets. These tickets are redeemed for prizes.
