  • "Popping Out My Facts"

    Thank you for your generous donations that made it possible for my students to "pop" and "drill the multiplication facts into their brain! When we received the "pop-its" my students were extremely excited, between the shouts of excitement I would hear students say," I love pop-its" " this is so fun" "I finally have a pop-it." This fun and engaging resource helped my students drill the multiplication facts into their brain. When the students were working on their multiplication fluency sheet, instead of the teacher checking their work. They would check each others' work by using the multiplication table pop-it. This trendy fidget made multiplication an ENGAGING concept.”

  • Cozy Reading Environment!

    Thank your for your generous donations. My students were extremely excited when they came in the classroom and saw all the flexible seats set up in our classroom library! It was heartwarming and a joy to see their shocked facial expressions and their eyes lit up of excitement, that they will no longer be sitting in the hard floor. My students enjoy being in the library not only to comfortably read books in the flexible seats, but also as a working station during independent work time. They treat it as a luxury and are anxiously waiting for time when they can go to the library and sit in the cozy seats. Once again, thank you for your contribution and for making it possible for my students to enjoy the cozy seats!”

Having a cozy and comfortable reading area can influence students to read and encourage them to spend more time reading, which will develop their love for books. Our goal is that all our students develop that passion for reading and become fluent readers. A comfortable space will also serve to improve students emotionally as they can use this area to self-control. Also having flexible seating to provide students with independence because they choose the location in the classroom that works for them. My students will choose to work in their desk in a wobble stool, bean bags or on the rug.

About my class
