My kids are the best! Doors open at 7:20 AM for bfast and morning review. Kids come up to my room and work on their HW for math, or any other subject, help each other out, and then we always do 2 - 3 Algebra problems before they go to HR. After school runs from 3:30 to 5pm. Same drill - HW as needed, then extra review. Kids can see one teacher or float to different teachers, depending on what they need help with. Some kids don't need help but just get in early or stick around late in the day. It's important to find a place where you belong, so some kids sign in with certain teachers because they can be themselves, or they just love to chat! And me - I try to live by three motos: LetsGetMathy, Peace begins with a smile, and Change is like rain, it starts with a single drop!
