Besides using them in class, students may take their headphones home so they can practice lessons quietly. Sometimes, students need quietness to take their tests. At other times, they need to practice their lessons without any interruptions. In addition, they might want to work on some assignments independently and silently. To sum it up, they can utilize their headphones with their peace of mind. On the other hand, I have had an old, ineffective flipchart stand for more than twenty years. Lately, the loose plastic, metallic grip does not hold the chart paper in place. Thus, I force a few chart paper underneath the grip but they drop downward. Then, I use a few, large binder clips to hold the paper charts in place, but I cannot hold them up for an extended period of time. All in all, I hope someone can help me purchase a sturdy chart stand to hold up the chart paper.
