I have special education students from pre-k to 12th grade. They come to my room to escape the rigors of the day. They also do classwork or homework that they are behind on or don't understand. I want to provide alternate seating and a reading nook for them to do homework in a nice quiet corner, that is comfortable and relaxing rather than the hard uncomfortable chairs we used in most classrooms. The bean bags are for them to sit on, and the beads are sensory for my lower functioning students that require sensory breaks.
