We really appreciate it. Our students will gain so much confidence & conceptual knowledge in math thanks to your generosity . I will use these manipulatives in many ways including station teaching & for many more student generations to come. Not only have you helped my class but you will be responsible for cultivating the math education of years of students. I humbly thank you”

  • White Board for Small Group Math Instruction

    Funded Dec 28, 2021

Thank you so much for your kindness. I feel as if I’ve won the lottery. My sixth graders & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This will help us & our ICT teacher now can maximize instructional time by both engaging in Small group instruction at the same time. Thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Quinones

During instruction, in an integrated co-teaching classroom, we break up into groups daily to provide small group instruction. This instruction is to help special education and general education students with lessons to help assist them with noted delays. During small group instruction, we only have one board which leaves the second group having to use chart paper. Having an additional white board will allow both groups to carry on instruction equally. Students are motivated to work on the whiteboard to show their thinking and display their math skills. When student participation increases, so does their academic progress. Also, it will provide all students with the same instructional materials. They have fun working on whiteboards and using the colorful dry erase markers to show their mathematics. The more they work, the more they learn. With your help, you can make a direct impact in increasing their motivation and improve their academic achievement.
