My students will be in my Crafts elective hour-it’s nearing the end of the day so we will snack and craft, feeding our creative selves as well as our bellies before the long bus ride home.
Themed project weeks will open minds to the joy of working with your hands, a willingness to try something new and countless ways to gain self-esteem as new talents and interests emerge.
Many lessons will also involve many supplies! We need paints, paper, brushes, leather goods and other creative supplies to let our minds explore. Students will be encouraged to display and share their work and so we want to have new materials and exciting mediums to show our fellow craft lovers.
