  • Table for Small Group Instruction Center

    I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this project and made it possible for my students to learn in small group. The student were so excited when they first our new table and learning area. After every lesson they look forward to learning in our special space with their friends.

    When my students first saw the table they were so excited. They wanted to begin working at it right away. They were also very curious as well about how and what we were going to do at our new red table!

    We use the table whenever we work in small groups, during reading, writing, math or even just to work on a project. They enjoy that they have a special space to learn at, other than their desk or the rug. I like that the students”

  • Empower Young Minds

    I would like to thank each and everyone of you who helped fund this project. Your contributions have allowed for our classroom to be a wonderful place of learning.

    All of my students were very excited to receive our new supplies, especially the new blue comfy seats. My students are using the new resources daily. We use the dry erase markers to workout math problems on our whiteboards and spell out all the sounds we hear during Fundations. The children absolutely love our new comfy floor seats. The flexible seating helps make Reading Workshop fun and exciting.

My first grade ICT students are at an age where they love to learn by engaging in hands on activities. The old-fashioned way of learning using only pencil and paper is definitely not for them. Providing them with these learning tools will allow them to learn in a fun engaging way. My students also love to read in different locations of the room such as, under a table, near the book shelf or the front of the classroom. I want to to be able to provide my students with comfortable seating in order to motivate them to read more and more. The comfortable floor seats will allow them to move around the room when reading and provide them the comfort they need as well. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
