Feel the Forces of Science!
Funded Jan 13, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation! The students have had so much fun learning about forces with the magnet kit and the marble run. I have had many students ask if they can come to the library at recess time to "play" with these kits. Being able to use and create with these hands-on materials makes all the difference in the world. The marble run has been great to use in my lessons about gravity, friction, forces and balance. I have already used the magnet kits to increase the students knowledge about forces and to help them understand some difficult new scientific vocabulary.
Both of these materials have had a huge impact on my teaching and the students' learning. Thank you so much for your generous donation.”

Bringing Science to Life Through Gardening!
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation. Each student in the garden club has planted seeds and watched them grow into seedlings. This Thursday is the big day where we will tranplant our seedlings out into the greenhouse. This project has also led to a really neat opportunity for our students, many of which had never done any type of gardening before. We have been invited by our towns high school agriculture department to come on a field trip and visit program. My students are going to get to visit with the animals, tour the green houses and hear from the students about the possible careers that can come from being a part of a program like this one. So because of you, we have planted not only seeds of veggies and flowers, but also seeds of inspiration for life long goals and endless possibilities.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. E's
