  • It's the 5th Graders' Time to Shine!

    Funded Jul 31, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom! The students will greatly benefit from improved math fluency and a better understanding of place value through engaging activities and practice. Your support makes a huge difference, the students and I deeply appreciate your investment in their education. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sullivan

  • A Fresh New Start!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

The cleaning supplies and tissues have been a huge help to our classroom with all the germs that go around in the beginning of every school year. I am able to keep the materials clean with the Lysol spray and wipes and the students are able to keep their hands clean with the multiple hand sanitizers around the room. Being at school every day makes a huge difference in the academic career of our students and thanks to your donations, I am able to keep a clean environment for the students to return to daily and receive instruction.

We all know how important sight words are and the materials purchased from this project have allowed the students to expand their vocabularies and easily identify words in an instructional level text. Their confidence while reading has increased and the students are more motivated to pick up a book on their own and read because the sight word resources have allowed them to read more fluently and with understanding.”

    With gratitude,

  • Spring into Math and Reading

    Funded May 20, 2022

The students were thrilled and could not wait to get their hands on the new resources funded from this project. They were all able to increase their knowledge of regrouping and enjoyed using the kit to practice their skills. The students also made huge improvements in their ability to tap, blend, and segment 3 letter words and looked forward to getting extra practice with the CVC decodables.

The resources allowed the students to stay engaged and encouraged them to use strategies to complete the task. The students and I are very thankful for your donations and giving them a chance to be successful in the classroom.”

    With gratitude,

  • The Building Blocks Toward Success!

    Funded Dec 21, 2021

Thank you endlessly for helping to make my classroom a place where each student can be successful! The students were absolutely thrilled to have the basic materials at their readiness and have been more motivated to learn using these supports! Seeing the joy on the students faces as they got their hands on the materials whether it was the self-correcting letter puzzles, puzzle boards during center work, and the sentence building tiles as well as the CVC spelling board games. Their phonological awareness skills have improved in part of your donations. Thank you for supporting my students and making learning fun for 3rd grade!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sullivan

Learning can be fun and engaging for students when they have things to touch, move, see, and play with. In the small groups that I pull, the students are working on decoding/encoding CVC words, answering -wh questions, sequencing, and adding and subtracting within 100. The materials I have chosen will support the students as they learn new content. The students will be able to use the self-correcting letter puzzles, and puzzle boards during center work, and another group can use the sentence building tiles as well as the CVC spelling board games. The resources can be used for educational games on Fun Fridays with the students allowing them to further practice their foundational skills. Knowledge of letters and the letter sound correspondence is a major part of being able to read print and write. The students that I work with would have a chance to form words and build sentences in centers in English and practice using their new vocabulary.
