The students in my art classes range from freshmen to seniors. Their skill levels in art vary--some have had art classes in the past; while others are experiencing art making for the first time. We are in a title one district, which means we have a large number of students on free or reduced lunch. They are good kids. They are willing to try new things and explore different facets of art making. This year in particular, they have far exceeded my expectations in their artistic abilities.
