Many of these resources will be used to connect concepts for them. When working with students with intellectual delays and autism, hands on learning is one of the best ways to get concepts to stick. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners. With minimal access to materials like these it can cause frustration and my goal is to limit frustration. When students are able to be in charge of their own learning and love what they are doing I see the biggest opportunity for success. Independence is my main goal with my students!
