This is incredible! The days were ticking down and I began to doubt if this proposal would receive enough support to earn full-funding. Silly me. Words cannot describe what I am feeling at this moment. My classes are currently at lunch, so as soon as I am done typing this letter, I'm about to bring a gigantic ray of sunshine into a dreary cafeteria. Thank you for truly making a major impact on the lives - both in and out of school - of four deserving, hard-working, and soon-to-be very grateful classes. (Their teacher is already grateful.)”

Mixed Media Collage - Showing Space, Texture, and Value! Students will create space in their artwork through texture and value by using mixed media. These materials will allow students to experience and experiment further with the techniques of art. Working with Mixed Media helps the students develop their understanding of varied textures through their sense of touch. They are literally getting inside their art. This has a calming effect which can be wonderful for all students, but particularly for students with disabilities, emotional challenges, and other cognitive issues. Thank you for your support!
