Each classroom will be given a CD player to allow students to independently listen to stories, sing along with their favorite nursery rhymes, and explore their creativity through music. They will move to music to improve their gross motor and coordination skills. In their classroom music center, students can conduct research by playing with sound. The CD players will allow students to use audiobooks to help with hand-eye coordination because they can track the words while they listen to the story. Early literacy begins with students being exposed to a variety of literature.
