My classroom is very diverse! In an effort to help motivate our youngsters to see themselves in books and to take on the perspective of others, it is important to fuel our library with books that support cultural responsiveness. These sets of books will be used in book clubs to allow the youngsters an opportunity to discuss and learn about the many experiences present in our world. Students will be able to take the books home to further engage their families in an effort to continue the conversation around having all voices heard and all stories shared.

About my class
