I wanted to thank you for your generous gift to my class. The books helped the students with the Bobblehead Biography project. The students were very enthusiastic and focus on their work. Most often this project, being one of the last projects of the year, is dreaded. This past year the students looked forward to completing the work.
My students enjoyed the new reading chairs and were able to relaxing while reading. Reading seemed to become an adventure not a chore.
Lastly my students who struggle were able to fully and independently participate in this activity. Although all students fully participate, it is not always independent due to the resources not matching the student. This time I saw students with new found pride.”

In my class I have a wide range of learners. The students who struggle the most with reading and writing have the least resources at their disposal. The books I have listed will be used to level the learning field. The books were chosen by my students. I want them to make a personal connection with reading and writing. Another road block my students face is limited or no access to technology outside of school. Often my students are unable to access books online due to unavailable technology. I try to provide them with resources but my resources are limited. These sets of books will give my students the opportunity to truly show their potential. The seating will allow my students to create their own personal reading spot. Some of my students struggle with getting themselves focused. I want my students to become avid readers and writers. Each and every one of my students has so much potential. These books will provide them to grow as readers and provide them with topics for writing. I know the desire to learn is there, we just need the resources.
