How do we continue to learn about gardening in the winter months? What makes something move, or go faster? When and where do we see energy and how is it improved? I know how we will use the materials, and what learning principles scholars will connect. We lack the ability to get the materials to serve every scholar fully.
By donating to our project, you help ensure our exploration into aquaponics, help to propel my students into active engaged learning, and to problem solve every day real world problems. We will use the buckets, hoses, seeds, pvc cutters, and tubing to create the model for our aquaponics garden and test our hypothesis. This part of our project will serve all students and is projected to be maintained at least 3 to 6 months to ensure productivity, quality, and to allow for fostering learning connections in longevity. The recycle boxes will help us learn how to apply environmental friendly tactics, keep our school clean , and have a designated place to help us sort the waste. This project we know is ongoing, and will serve a huge purpose, while ensuring my scholars learn to be an active and fully involved in their community.
The solar powered cars kit will serve our 3rd and 4th grade scholars as they explore motion and energy. The opportunity to build and test their hypothesis serves a bigger learning goal for each of my scholars. It will help them put into practice physical engineer practices, and to work out real world scenarios without out the
materials as a barrier to success. My scholars are motivated to do more, be more, and create more when they feel supported, see that they are supported, and can account for a need, and rejoice in seeing that need is met.
