The majority of the students I service on a day-to-day basis in my gym class are very stressed and full of anxiety. So much of the student's stressors come from situations beyond their control, for example, mental illness or social acceptance. This punching bag and jump ropes will be used to get out the stress and anxiety. Exercising will help the students physically and emotionally get rid of their stressors and the emotional baggage that they are dealing with. I do realize this is not a long-term option for healing but it will open a door to find peace.
