    Funded May 7, 2013

Thank you so much for supporting my project. Your donations will make a big difference in my classroom now that we are implementing the new common core standards. We are going to use these binders to organize student's work. My students are excited to know the new strategy we are possibly going to use in order to track their work. Your generosity is going to be remembered every day in my classroom when my students open one of the binders that they will now be using as a notebook. It brings me great pleasure to see my students motivated in participating in their learning process. • Please Help Us Print: We Need Paper and Ink!

    Funded May 10, 2013

Thank you so much for supporting my project. Your donations have made a big difference in my classroom. Without ink cartridge my students were not able to print out research as well as, homework, and other important information. It brought me great pleasure to see my students able to not only do in class research but be able to take it home and continue their learning outside of school, which was all evident within their projects. Your donation of ink cartilages made this type of learning possible for my students, and motivated them to want to do better work.”

Thank you So much for donating to my project.

Your generosity is well appreciated among me as teacher, the parents and the students. I use the ipad as an instrument of communication with parents. I keep track of the students attendance, make comments on their behavior and other information, so that parents will be able to keep an eye on their child's learning process from home.

  • Green Machine

    Funded May 24, 2011

Thank you so much for donating the supplies to my class. My students and I are very excited to have such nice and useful materials in our classroom.

Thanks to people like you it is possible for me to address my my student's needs. Materials such as a computer, a printer, ink, color papers, pencils, and pens allow me to create and teach such interesting lessons that keep my students involved in their learning process.

These materials allow me to create student centered lessons. As you can see in the picture, the students are working in cooperative groups. The students use the computer to do research on the days topic, while using the printer to complete projects and print hand-outs.

In a second language learning environment every material counts for the second language acquisition. Most of my students live in very poor environment resulting in a lack of materials. So much so that even materials like pencils and pens made a big difference for them. On my behalf of my class and myself, I would like to for your generosity.”

The students at my school have to overcome many language barriers, learn the English language and required school standards with little or no help from their parents. Their parents are unable to help them in the educational area due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the English language as well as knowledge of school content concepts. My students work hard and often support their mothers and fathers by running household errands and watching younger siblings. I find them truly amazing knowing what trouble they go through each and every day of their young lives.
