iPad for My Students.
Funded Sep 29, 2022A tremendous thank you for such a beautiful gift.
Many of my students do not have the financial means to receive an Ipad. Since our world is ever-changing and becoming more tech based I believe it is vital to expose young minds to technology. This will allow them to navigate the internet, applications, and various different technological issues.
This product is exciting for my students because many do not have the ability to have an Ipad at home and this changes the opportunity. It shows them the wonders of technology and how it makes learning helpful. Even though many schools provide computers and laptops, not many provide Ipad's. This can also be used at positive reinforcement at the end of the session if the student has a positive session.
Most students are happy with the Ipad because most student enjoy working with technology. It is a new exciting feature I can provide in the session.”

Funded Apr 7, 2022Thank you for taking the time to donate to my speech therapy room. We love our new materials and know it will be an engaging, fun-filled session when these materials are used. We use the Bingo sets to learn various grammatical concepts, such as endings and word order. Then we use the magnetic tablet to form sentences. We use the fluency cards to read aloud and explain which grammatical aspect we see in the story. The students loved the new materials because they were colorful, bright and new! It is a nice change for a student to get a new game or activity they can play with and learn simultaneously. I explained to them that these materials were donated to them so they have to be extra careful when playing with these toys. I even had a student clean up after themself. My next steps in future projects is to incorporate more technological types activities. With this new world we are living, my students need to know technology and how to use it on a daily basis. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
