  • Let's 3D Create

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

The 3D printer allows the students to imagine, plan, design and create STEM projects in science. For students, learning comes when they enjoy and are able to experience hands on activities. This is our class first 3D printer and we hope to explore our students' originality, creativity and ingenuity in completing projects. Hopefully in the future, we can duplicate and engage further more of our future engineers.

The 3D printer excites students not just that it is popular among our new generations but also it makes their imagination and creativity possible. It is a new inspiration for our future problem solvers!

This project draws attention and interest across all cross section of the science students' population. Thank you for making our science learning experience exciting and productive!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Dancel

This classroom project was brought to life by The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation and one other donor.
  • Virtual Science Lab

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

The VR Science Lab that our classes received out of your generous donations provided our students virtual reality lessons and hands on experiments specially in studying electricity and energy as well a being able to create how volcanoes erupts. These are just a few examples that we are able to enjoy from these tools we received from your donation.

My students were so excited to these learning toys and gadget because learning science seem for them no longer a task but a time to enjoy and learn.

Our next step is to expand our VR science lab collections if possible like acquiring more of these VR gadgets with more varying science inspired topics. Indeed all these would be possible because of your continued support! Thank you and we hope that your generosity will continue to bear fruit through the progress that our young learners will attain and achieve!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Dancel

  • Science Thru Music

    Funded Dec 23, 2022

This project provided my students instruments that they can use to explore how to use their creative and musical sense to compose and perform in musical term or medium the key concept and information they are learning in science. This learning in science is in a way different from the traditional learning process. The experience allowed our classes to merge our interest in the arts of music with our scientific learning goals!

The students were so interested and excited about the keyboard and absolutely, they all wanted to learn and create music!

Our next step is for students to just freely create the 'science filled' lyrics and just simply focusing on how to use simple melodies in remembering science vocabulary words. Hopefully, they will be able to create a simple tune out of it. I hope that, students can actually perform and show their opus as an example for other classes as well.

    Again, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Dancel

  • Virtual Wonder Experienced in Science

    Funded Aug 24, 2022

Thank you so much for your support in making it possible for my students to have the resource to experiencing the wonders of science in 3D perspective! My students are able to develop interest and excitement and hopefully this will motivate them to pursue their dreams as future scientists and engineers- curious, inquisitive, problem solvers and tenacious! The Virtual Reality Head set allowed students tools to explore science wonders such as experiencing the ocean life, exploring the jungle and the universe! These would be unimaginable with regular teaching and learning tools.

In general, all of the students are so excited and would want to experience the 3D virtual reality set but the experience is more gratifying for visual learners! Hopefully we can add some more of this gadget in the future so more and more young learners can experience the wonder of 3D at the same time!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Dancel

We plan to study topography and explore the city environment from a panoramic view so students can understand their environment from different perspectives. We hope that students having hands-on experience in operating and using drones would stimulate their interest in exploration and interest in their environment. The KardiaMobile EKG will be used for exploring and understanding health related investigation. Since most students in my class are having problems projecting their voices specially with their mask on during class discussion, I would like to use the portable speaker system to facilitate and help those great ideas from their little voices be heard during this time of the pandemic and with their mask causing problem during their enthusiastic interaction.
