These books will enable my students to improve their reading skills. They will form student-selected reading groups, determine their reading timeline, and decide on their discussion topics. What seems to them like reading with friends will in reality improve their reading comprehension through rich reading discussions. The excitement that comes from seeing a darkling beetle where previously your pupa was, can't be had from a book or a video. The science materials will allow my students to discover the life cycle of plants and insects in a meaningful and memorable way.
