The heart rate activity monitors will enhance learning for students as they will use their own body as the learning tool. Students will be able to create a real-world connection between the activity they do, and the required levels of activity needed for a healthy lifestyle. Students will be able to monitor their real time activity levels, compare them against recognized standards, and adjust accordingly to be in their optimal health zone. Students will be able to take the fitness concepts learned well past the classroom and place it in their physical literacy toolbox for a lifetime of activity.
