  • COMMUNE and Partake

    My students are knocking on my door during lunch to receive snack bags. Homeless, pregnant and students who simply just dent like the school lunch. I also created birthday bags out of the materials that were sent to me to let students know we celebrate them too. The students' reactions were excitement as you see in the photos. I was able to feed them with some off their favorite food and snacks. I plan to continue to support my students with concerns outside the classroom to promote a better social emotional learning environment

The students will have a chance to socialized and commune before starting the day. It will eliminate distractions for socializing and from them being hungry while in the building. It will allow for less distractions during learning time. It will also feed students who cant afford lunches everyday or just may get hungry without having money for snacks . I will also help use these items for attendance incentives for students who has a ISA 70% and higher to help encourage students to come to school everyday and to come on time.

About my class
