  • Our Pre-K Students Are Picture Perfect!

    Funded May 8, 2023

In our Pre-K class, we take literally hundreds of pictures a week! We print all of these pictures out, with our own money. Throughout the course of the year, we spend hundreds of dollars on photos! At the end of the year we then make them into photobook keepsakes for each child to have as a memory of our year together. With your kindness and generosity, you have enabled us to save time and money by printing the photos right in our classroom by funding our photo printer along with the awesome supply of photo paper and photo ink!

Because of your generosity, you help us in ways you cannot even imagine, so Thank You!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Great Teachers Need Supplies to Teach Great Things!

    Funded May 9, 2023

As always, from the bottoms of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for your extreme generosity! Knowing that we have so many wonderful supplies to help us start off the next school year off, is a tremendous help to us and a huge savings in our pockets.

There are so many different things that most people do not know that we use on an everyday basis in class that we have to supply on our own. With your help, you have given us the items needed for so many projects, lessons and fun!

When we unpack these things in front of the students, they get as excited as we do, so thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Little Scientist Need Tools to Learn!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

We cannot thank you enough for all of the new tools and toys that you have provided for our "little scientist"!

The kinetic sand, along with the toys and manipulatives, are definitely some of the favorite new things in out science center. The little imaginations run wild when the children are olayi g and creating.

They also love looking in the little mirrors to see the uniqueness of themselves. We will soon be introducing the flashlights when we start our unit on light, and we know for sure that being able to give each child their own flashlight to explore in the dark of our classroom will bring much happiness.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Little Minds Need Great Supplies to Help our Minds Grow!

    Funded Oct 27, 2022

In a Pre K class, you can only imagine the amount of supplies that we go through weekly. Paper, markers, crayons, glue, tape...that's just in a hour! We love creating and since we let our little minds grow through expression of art, we use SO MUCH daily!

Four year olds make beautiful, happy mistakes. When there is something they don't like, they automatically ask to have a redo. We do not want to suppress the inner artist, so we hang the many projects they make so that they can see how beautiful their work is.

By funding this project for you, you allow us to help mold and encourage beautiful learners and help to foster a deep love for learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Music Helps Us Move!

    Funded Oct 13, 2022

We cannot thank you enough for your more than generous donations to our classroom! When we unboxed the rhythm sticks in front of the students, they were SO VERY excited! the excitement grew even more when we put the CD on and showed them how they work and what fun we can have with them! They love using the bells and ribbon sticks in the music center to dance all around. The excitement on their faces brings joy and happiness not only to our classroom, but to anyone that stops I when they hear the fun and laughter coming from our room!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • PreK Kids Love to "Cook"!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for our new AWESOME kitchen!! The children absolutely love and and it is truly the first place they all choose to play each day! While in the kitchen they learn about sharing, cooking, different types of ethnic foods and so much more! They can now set a table, learn the difference between fruits and vegetables and what proteins are!

The importance of a safe beautiful new kitchen in a Pre K classroom is such a priority as we learn through play and being it's such a highlight in our room the students learn the importance of patience and sharing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Art is the Heart of Pre-K

    Funded Jun 23, 2022

Our kids love learning through art! Ty so much for enabling us to have the supplies to teach our kids how to learn! With all of the supplies you were so very generous to help us get, we have stocked our classroom with enough to get us through the year and perhaps more! We paint, draw, make collages, use dot markers, crayons oil pastels and more!

Fridays are fun days where we paint our faces to match the color or theme we learned and get to go home as someone fun! Art truly is the heart of pre k. Ty so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Little Minds Need Rest to Become Big Minds!

    Funded Jun 29, 2022

Rest time is a very important part of a pre K students day. Our day is filled with so much learning and playing, that it's important to have a bit of down time to recharge those little, hard working brains! Our old cots were over 10 years old. They were fraying, some were ripped and the majority of them were so stretched out that the poor children were practically on the floor. With these new cots, we can start off fresh, label each with a students name (for hygienic reasons) and have a nice comfy place to rest and recharge! We cannot thank you all for donating to this cause to make "our kids" cozy!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Organization is the Key to a Teachers Heart.

    Funded Dec 24, 2021

By having an organized classroom, we are able to find resources quickly to get our kids working and playing faster. Having an organized classroom is better for the students as well as the teachers! The students now know where to find things as they are all in their proper bins and containers, which also helps to make clean up easier! When the students came in and saw all the new containers and bins they were amazed at how "our toys and crafts all look new".

By donating to our classroom, you have definitely made our every day work so much easier and neater!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

  • Cooking and Creating With Pre-K Cuties

    Funded Dec 8, 2021

Our kids were so very excited to cook in our "new, fancy oven!" They kept asking when we would be using it. Being our class was quarantined, it took a bit longer, but today we did it! We mixed up a batch of brownies and we were able to fit 3 muffin tins in at once and we had 18 cupcake brownies to turn into bear bubble baths before we knew it! This helps us greatly, as we can do in 40 minutes what used to take hours!

The kids are already looking forward to what we will be measuring, mixing and making next! Ty so very much 🥰”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kristen McCormack

In our Pre-K classroom, we use cooking to teach many lessons. Math, science, hygiene, cleaning up and sharing are all part of our weekly cooking lessons. The children look forward to pushing up their sleeves and taking turns measuring and mixing to create yummy treats that we share with others in the school and then bring home to their parents to share with them as well. This new toaster oven will enable us to step up our cooking times to get more done efficiently, as our small one takes forever.
