My students and I appreciate you funding this project. We have enjoyed the materials that included phonics games, math games, math manipulatives, visuals. My students get excited every time I bring a new game and/or material. They are easily engaged and participate in class. As a result they are using content vocabulary words as well.

On behalf of my students and myself we would like to once again Thank You for your support. As the year continues we appreciate your generosity and continue our goal of learning English.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. D. Leiva-Ruiz

It is with great gratitude that I write this thank-you letter. The supplies you sent us have been a great resource for my English language Learners. We use the different trays to do a variety of activities, for example, sorting coins, and graphing candies. The Venn diagram trays helped us distinguish the differences and similarities between a moth and a butterfly. We enjoyed the different materials that have helped my lessons be more hands-on, have more visuals, and overall be more interesting for my students. My students have been able to also practice their writing skills. For example, they were able to complete a Venn Diagram and explained how two things are similar/different.

My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous contribution. You have made a positive impact in my teaching and their learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. D. Leiva-Ruiz

All of my students are non English-speaking. They would benefit from materials that have realia and/or hands on activities. From PreK to 5th grade they are curious and are eager to learn. The materials I'm requesting are engaging. My English-speaking learners benefit from visuals, hands on activities. Some of the materials will be available for families to borrow. Students will learn about Mathematics (counting, sorting, graphing). In reading they will learn letters, sounds, sight words. The main goal is for them to have a variety of materials to use at school/home.
