Our Kindergarten and 1st grade learners process all content and skills better when they have hands-on contact with what they're studying. This is especially true in math class. GeoStix and MagnaTiles are fantastic hands-on materials for exploring 2-D and 3-D geometry concepts. They allow children to manipulate pieces into the shapes they are studying. They can compose and decompose shapes easily using these materials. Additionally, their enthusiasm for geometry is exponentially greater when using such kid-friendly, accessible, and beautiful-looking objects.
