These organizational and foundational math/literacy resources will support students in accessing and excelling within the classroom and through the curriculum! The organizational classroom supports (tables, chairs, teaching cart and seat sacks) help foster independence while tactile tools support strong foundational skills for lifelong readers, writers, and mathematicians. Our learning diverse and culturally diverse community requires many hands-on experiences to engage with the curriculum. These resources will support kinesthetically pleasing experiences for students with special needs, english language learners, and all young learners. Calming colors and many organizational components of the project allow students to self-regulate their emotions. This self-regulation will allow students to access, organize, and develop independence in using the activities within the project.
