This set helps young children build STEM skills through play. Building fine motor strength is also benefitted as the children must manipulate the Legos as they build. It also builds social skills as it provides opportunities to communicate and collaborate with friends on what to build and how to make the various structures. Additionally it teaches the following STEM concepts: Cause and effect Observing and describing Problem solving Developing imagination Creating representations Learning these concepts through play is the best way to cement these concepts that are the building blocks for future success in STEM academics.
