The items selected will help us fulfill COVID-related learning needs by exposing students to alternate learning methods. These items will inspire our students to learn through games that will enrich their scope of knowledge. The "My Feelings" game targets the social emotional development of young students. We find this to be especially important because many students have returned to school after being seemingly isolated for over a year. Color coded stools and white boards will help teachers to organize students into intervention groups, specifically designed to meet the needs of students that require help in different subjects. The desk items, storage items, and coloring materials, have been chosen to ensure that students, as well as teachers, remain organized, have the necessary materials for each project, and also to provide a classroom environment that is aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. These are all contributing factors that promote a plentiful learning environment, which many of our first graders have yet to experience due to the Covid-19 pandemic. By allowing our students to experience education in a variety of ways, we hope to create well rounded, organized, and creative individuals, that embrace a lifetime of learning.
