A Zen Place
Funded Nov 10, 2023Heartfelt Thanks for Your Support of "A Zen Place" Project
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude on behalf of our school community for your generous contribution to the "A Zen Place" project. Your support has profoundly impacted our students' well-being, and we are truly grateful for your commitment to their mental health and overall success.
Since the implementation of the project, we have witnessed remarkable transformations in our students. The fidget tools and meditation devices have become invaluable resources, providing our students a sanctuary to calm themselves, reset, and refocus. Your contribution has played a crucial role in creating a space where students can alleviate stress and even manage panic attacks effectively.
Additionally, the inclusion of snacks and candy has brought an extra layer of comfort to our students. Many appreciate the opportunity to indulge in a treat as they pass through "A Zen Place" on their way back to class. This simple yet thoughtful gesture has added a touch of joy to their daily routine and has not gone unnoticed.
Your generosity has not only impacted the present well-being of our students but also contributed to the development of coping mechanisms that will serve them well in the future. Your support goes beyond the physical items; it extends to the emotional and mental well-being of the young minds you have helped nurture.
Once again, thank you for making "A Zen Place" a reality for our students. Your kindness and commitment to their success will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on their lives.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Corsell

Funded Dec 12, 2021My students enter the office and are immediately greeted with soft pillows to lean on or hug, soothing sounds, lighting, and scent.
Several students have enjoyed talking through their concerns while partaking in a snack. As they de-escalate, they have learned to use the relaxation tools such as the pop-it's, figet rings, and coloring books. I am including meditations to help my students who need additional anxiety and stress reduction.
I would like to maintain this relaxation corner of my office with tools to help high schoolers relax.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Corsell
