We have been studying engineers in our kindergarten classroom, different types and what they do. This has sparked an interest in architectural engineering among the students. They are building by making a plan, testing it out, and trying again if necessary.
With magnetic cubes, bristle blocks, interlocking discs, wooden rocks and magnetic blocks, my kindergarteners will have a variety of materials to expand their architectural skills. Kindergarteners learn best through play and exploration, as they use their imaginations. In our class, if it falls down or doesn't work, we just rebuild. Thank you for helping grow our minds!
