My students are going to start their third grade of elementary school in the Dual Spanish Program, where they are going to enhance their mother tongue (Spanish) and also going to learn more English. These children finished their kindergarten in distance education due to COVID. They attended their entire first grade in Zoom classes. Their second grade was done with me and it was in person. It was a very special experience after more than 2 years out of the classroom. My students worked very hard to be able to reach second grade level and to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for third grade. I am very proud of each of them and I look forward to providing them with an excellent 2022-2023 academic year at Golden Oak School.
