As a first year Family and Consumer Science teacher, I am hoping to provide my students with an experience with sewing. Thanks to the generosity of family and friends, I have a lot of scrap fabric and buttons. For those students who would like to try a larger project or a machine project, I would like to be able to offer them pre-cut projects to try or a small machine. There are so many project ideas on the internet that students can try, if we only have a few sewing machines available.
