    Thank you so much for the Health supplies and games. My students are especially loving them. The games definitely increase overall motivation. I see that my students have become more excited to learn, pay attention, and participate in-class activities. Also, I found the games are great classroom management tools, helping to motivate my class. I've realized using games in teaching can foster social and emotional learning and motivate students to take risks. Taking risks is an important thing to learn to build confidence!”

  • A New MacBook Can Enhance Students' Love of Stem

    Technology helps teachers reach different kinds of learners, reinforce and expand on concepts, and motivate students in new ways. As technology continues to grow and flourish, there will be more demand for professionals ready to take on technology careers.

    Using technology helps young children learn how to multitask more effectively. Students can learn how to listen and type to take notes, or other multitasking activities that can help them succeed in their future.

    Also, technology can improve visual-spatial development. Spatial development can be greatly improved when technology like video games is used to help train young students. Practicing visual-spatial skills with video games can be a great way to improve abilities. Visual spatial skills are needed in a variety of things, like map reading, puzzles, and more.”

These folders will be used as portfolios to allow my students to not only keep their classroom project pieces organized but also able to show their parents during parent-teacher conferences all of their wonderful school work. Also, the headphones will be a huge investment in my classroom as I've taken on a larger population of special education students, who have different learning styles. Many are audio and visual learners who need extra time when working on assignments. Having a laptop in front of them along with their own headphones allows them to see and listen at their own pace.
