New Literacy Centers Help Students' Reading Soar!

I am so thrilled that you partnered with me to bring engaging literacy materials into my classroom. The students will have so much fun “playing” with these new centers that they won’t even realize they are learning at the same time. I can’t wait to see their confidence in reading get a major boost! This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 8 other donors.

These materials will help students build confidence in their reading abilities. It will help them practice word building and reading in a tactile way - which ensures they will be more focused and engaged when I am meeting with small groups. These materials help support the work we are doing in first grade all year long. It will be wonderful to see their faces light up when they realize we have new ways to practice learned skills. These centers help each student to soar based on individual needs and goals.
