For this project, materials play a major role in contributing to the success of a lesson’s activity and deepening the knowledge gained from the learning tasks assigned by the teacher. In order for students to reach the objectives that are set by the curricular standards, they will either need be given access to the items required by the school or brought from home. However, it’s important to recognize that not all students come from a household that budgets for school supplies. In reality, for unit lessons to provide an equal experience for all students, materials should always be available for teachers to disperse in regards to both current and future activities.
