  • Table Toy Favorites

    Funded Jun 29, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to my project of table toy fun. The children in my class were so excited to see the globe, the number bots and the nuts and bolts counters. They are having so much fun identifying the numbers and then transforming them into robots. It is engaging both the boys and the girls in my Prek classroom. The nuts and bolts counting table toy has really helped my students identify numbers, count out to show how many as well as build their fine motor skills as they have to turn the nuts onto the bolt. They have to to this to match each number. This too engages both the boys and girls in my Prek class. The globe has really added to our science center. The children love to identity the different parts of the world they come from as well as the different parts of the world that we are learning to say hello from.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Evert

  • Outdoor Play!

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to my project. The students are having so much fun creating music on our outdoor drum set. It has added such a fun item to our growing school garden. The music that they create can be heard throughout the neighborhood. Another favorite thing from our project was the sit and scoots. They have races and it really has improved their gross motor skills. We also love to play with the exercise mats. We use a dice and roll it and get to lead the class it doing various gross motor moves. We look forward to going out to gym each and every day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Evert

These materials will make outdoor play more engaging. We play in a concrete fenced-in yard and need to spice up our gross motor options to help keep our friends engaged. Our children would love to scoot around on scooters, play music on the drum set, run and fly with ribbons tied to their wrists, play basketball, and surf on surfboards. We will use these materials to improve eye, hand, and foot coordination, to improve their social skills, ability to share all while being safe by playing in our outside space.
