  • Pre-kinder Ocelots

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to express my heartfelt gratitude for considering support for our pre-kindergarten Ocelots. Your generosity can significantly impact our students' success in phonemic awareness and math.

My students, who come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, are eager learners—little sponges ready to soak up knowledge. However, many of them lack access to books at home, which contributes to limited vocabulary and foundational skills. By donating resources such as math books, you can help provide them with the hands-on learning experiences they thrive on.

These math books will not only engage them in essential math concepts but will also enhance their vocabulary and foster a love for reading. Your support will empower these young learners and lay a strong foundation for their future academic success.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for considering a donation that will enrich the lives of our students. Your kindness will have a lasting impact on their educational journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. R. Martinez

  • Sensory Play in Sunny South Texas

    Funded Apr 23, 2024

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our initiative to enhance outdoor learning for our early childhood students. Your contribution has been instrumental in our efforts to get students outside and engaged in sensory play.

As you know, sensory play is vital for our students' development. It allows them to explore their five senses—sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste—while also boosting their language and motor skills. By providing opportunities for hands-on learning in the sand and water tables, we are encouraging exploration, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills among our eager learners.

Thanks to your support, we can create an enriching outdoor environment where our students can thrive. The excitement on their faces as they engage in play is a reminder of the joy and growth that comes from learning outside the classroom.

Thank you for believing in our mission to foster a love of learning through outdoor play. Your commitment to our students' growth is truly appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. R. Martinez

  • Brighter Classroom for Brighter Minds

    Funded May 18, 2024

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support of our recent project to enhance our classroom environment. Your contributions have been invaluable in helping us create a space that nurtures both academic growth and emotional well-being for our students.

As you know, we aimed to establish a calm and soothing atmosphere through the installation of soft, ambient lighting. The string lights we've added have transformed our classroom, providing a warm and inviting ambiance that encourages creativity and self-expression. The gentle glow not only reduces stress and anxiety but also inspires our students to explore new ideas and engage more fully in their learning experiences.

Thanks to your support, we have created a space where students feel safe and motivated. The positive impact on their emotional well-being and overall engagement has been profound, and we are already witnessing a more vibrant and enthusiastic classroom environment.

We appreciate your commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing educational experience. Thank you once again for your generosity and belief in our vision.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. R. Martinez

These materials will give my students hands-on opportunities to help them create and develop their fine motor skills. I will use them in small group and learning centers. It will help me to work one on one if necessary with numbers. It will develop their language and vocabulary; most of them do not speak more than a word. My students are very language delayed and I hope to use many of these items to help them learn vocabulary and speak in full sentences. I appreciate this opportunity.
