The use of connection cubes will allow students to have hands-on tools while they are learning important math concepts. These will help students create equal groups and arrays for multiplication. They will help students create and understand fractions. Students will also learn perimeter and area using these blocks. Then build structures using unit measurements and standard measurements. It is my hope for students to combine their structures to make one giant structure, engaging them in problem-solving and engineering. It is my hope for each student to have enough connected cubes to use in solving math problems and in building a final project using those math skills to complete.
