  • Hands-on Games for our Second Grade Classroom!

    My students and I have been utilizing our new learning games each day in our classroom! They absolutely love playing games to learn and we have had a blast figuring out how to play all of our new games! Watching them learn and grow through play is such a blessing.

    Their favorite game we have tried so far has been a place value game with dinosaurs. We have also loved playing our new fishing game suring small groups. They love rolling the large blow up dice and counting on the huge 100's chart!

    Thank you again for your contribution to our classroom. I can assure you that each of these games are already so well-loved and taken care of. In my personal opinion, kids learn best when they're having fun. THANK YOU for helping my kids to learn in a fun and creative way.”

    Thank you so much for your contribution to our project. We are so grateful for our wiggle seats and books! The seats have been making a HUGE difference in the students that are using them. It has truly helped their concentration and participation in class. My students have been enjoying our new materials daily and gave a big THANK YOU to you!

    When I unboxed our Elephant and Piggy books, my student's faces lit up and they begged to be able to read them. We took some time that first day to read all of our new books with flashlights!

One of my goals as a teacher is to help spark each child's interest in reading. Reading is such an important part of everyday life and we are working hard to get each child reading on grade level before they move on to third grade in order to set them up for success. One way to help them do this is by getting their wiggles out, so that they can focus! I believe that using these wiggle seats will truly help them exert their extra energy and wiggles in order to become successful readers. I am hoping to have an array of different books in order to allow each of my students to find something that peaks their interests. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. Our classroom does not have a large collection of books on their reading level, so I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom. My students and I appreciate any and all help! Thank you!
