I intend to use these puzzle during free time, indoor recess, and during science time. Puzzles are a fantastic way to help aide in students critical thinking skills, teamwork with other students in the class, and can also aide in creative thinking. The puzzles I have chosen will not only be fun for my students, but they also teach about different animal biomes and geography. My students will be able to further their understanding of these concepts through a fun outlet. After my students have done some puzzles in class, I am hoping it will spark an interest and they will want to do some at home as well in their free time. This is a more educational outlet than something they may do at home like video games. I am hoping through doing puzzles in my class, they will find that they enjoy the way it can challenge them mentally while having fun with others or individually.
