• New Library in Pre K-3

  My class is very grateful for your donation, all the items are well appreciated in the classroom. The new bookshelf will illuminate our library and give the students easy access to the books of their choice at their level. The library is one of the students favorite independent centers and the new bookcase is perfect, they can be sitting down and still choose books right at their reach. Glue sticks are a staple in our classroom, we work on so many projects and activities throughout the entire school year. Thank you so much!”

• Centers on the Go

  Funded May 8, 2024

  Thank you for your contribution to our classroom. The students faces lit up upon opening the big box. This is going to make our center time a much smoother process, the students can easily rotate and take the materials they need with them without having to make pauses to put their completed work away until the very end. The cart has several levels and they will also be able to carry their water without having to interrupt or make pauses to the small group instruction. When we go outside, each group can take their materials with them making transportation easy.”

• Christmas to Remember

  Thank you for your generous contribution to the classroom. The students are very excited to be able to take their first Christmas Book home to share with their families for years to come. It is very comfortable for their little hands to handle the book with the puffy front and back cover. The pages are thick enough for them at this age where they are learning to take care and handle things. The students have a library full of books and we get to showcase the top pick of each week, making those books available to the students during the week.”

• Storage Please

  Thank you for your contribution to our classroom, the students were so thrilled to see boxes arrive to our classroom. They enjoy opening boxes, it is a surprise to all. The classroom now looks very tidy and organized. Everything has a place. The centers are now accessible to all of the students. They feel independent reaching for the needed items for the day and when done they are able to put them right back. The color patterns allows them to easily see where the item belongs. We could not do it without donations like this to complete our classroom.”

• Favorite Class Staples

  Thank you very much for your generous contribution to our Pre-K 3 classroom. The children were very excited to open up the boxes with me. They felt so empowered to take the items and put them in their center area where they could reach over themselves to participate in centers. They have grown and become more independent in their school journey. The Playdoh, Magnetic tiles, and Sensory toys are a bit hit in this classroom. They are most definitely our class favorites and the reason why they need to be replaced and replenished from time to time.”

The students are very excited to have these items as new additions to our classroom centers. It was like an early Christmas present when we saw the boxes arrive to our class this morning. We as a class opened the boxes together and they got to see with amazement, we immediately opened the items and began using them. It was perfect, when they arrived it was getting close to our center time.”

• Memorable School Holidays

  We are set for the remainder of the school year. We have all of the essentials that we need. Students are very excited for our Thanksgiving Holiday that is just around the corner. Christmas will soon be here, and we have the perfect crafts for our students all thanks to Donors Choose and their amazing contributors. As I opened the boxes this morning the children looked with amazement, they wanted to know what was in each of the boxes. Our border backdrop makes a change in the classroom, much more warming and inviting.”

• Foodie Friday Extravaganza

  Thank you for your generous donation, very warming to know there are great contributors to the field of education and are also passionate to helping out. I just received a compliment by a colleague who let me know my classroom was looking great. I let her know it was thank you to Donors Choose. Our Foodie Friday activities have reached the next level, we know have the tools available to make our activity a great success. Our math center is now neatly organized, the children are able to see exactly what box we will use for our rotation. Our items that are not in use are neatly stored away. Thank you.”

• My First School Christmas

  As the Christmas season approaches, we will begin to get ready in our classrooms. Your donations has made the season even brighter for the students. This is their first school celebrated Christmas and as teachers we are very excited to teach them all about it. Students will get to decorate their Christmas stockings and hand them around the room and as we count down to Christmas they will be filled with goodies. The Christmas bags and tissue paper will be used to put their Christmas gifts in them. The Polar Express ticket will be used when we learn all about the meaning of Christmas. The lights make our room look warm and cozy!”
