Snack Boost
Funded Apr 15, 2025Thank you so much for your snack donations. I can’t wait to be able to offer the students a snack after recess and after a long testing block. A snack goes a long way when we have such long blocks between breakfast and lunch. We appreciate your generosity and kindness.”

Snack Boost
Funded Sep 25, 2024Thank you so much for the generous donations. The children are so hungry in the time newer breakfast and lunch , which on most days is 3.5 hours. The snacks help bridge the gap and allow us to continue learning in our academic blocks without getting too grouchy.
Secondly, the sketch pads have been a true blessing. The children have a cooldown period after recess and lunch where they are allowed to sketch and calm down. Having their drawings in one place has been so comforting to them. They also sketch what we are learning about so these pads help integrate the subjects.
Thank you for your support of our third grade class.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation and 7 other donors.Snack Boost
Funded Jan 5, 2024Thank you so much for donating to our classroom snacks. The period from breakfast to lunch is over four hours long. The students get so hungry. When they saw the boxes come in filled with delicious snacks, they were overjoyed.
On Wednesdays, some children stay for extra tutoring and enrichment. During this time, it is also nice to be able to offer a healthy snack. Chex Mix and multiplication bingo go great together.
In addition to the great snacks, it has been so lovely to have a supply of hand soap for the classroom. Thanks again!”

Awesome Books for Awesome Readers!
Funded Jan 22, 2024Thank you so much for donating the awesome books to our classroom. We used them during our English Language Learning block of the day. Each day the children took turns reading, while also learning about an important time in California history.
The students also learned valuable comprehension skills, increased their fluency and vocabulary. After each chapter , we would make predictions and ask important questions about the text, all skills we know great readers do automatically.
Thank you again for gifting us a class set of new books. We greatly appreciate it.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Brennan
