These resources will give my students a fun place to read in our classroom and encourage them to give books and reading a chance. Many students have given up on reading because they feel that are not good at it so they do not get enjoyment from reading. I am trying to foster a love of reading that will open the doors of imagination and curiosity in my students. The books chosen all offer my students an opportunity to see something of themselves in a character that maybe they have not been able to see before. NVACS Standards: RL9-12.1-10; RI9-12.1-10
